Jane Foster - Room 24

Kia ora koutou,

I have been teaching since 2009 throughout New Zealand and the United Kingdom. I am excited to be teaching in the Junior School this year.

Travelling is a passion of mine and I have spent a number of years exploring many countries around the world.

In my spare time I enjoy CrossFit, fishing, and hiking.

My goal as a teacher is to inspire lifelong learners to reach their full potential in a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Mauri ora,

Jane Foster

Sarah Brown - Room 12

Year 4 Teacher

Kia ora!

This is my second year teaching at Ōtūmoetai Primary. Before OPS I was at Tirau Primary School. I started teaching at the Mount and have travelled all around the world with this fabulous teaching qualification. I love teaching Year 5s and 6s, and watching them develop and grow in confidence. I especially love teaching maths, reading and art and am passionate about caring for the environment. When I am not at school, I enjoy gardening, walking my dog, swimming and hanging out with friends and family.

Emily Campbell - Room 21

New Entrant/Year 1 Teacher

Kia ora my name is Emily Campbell and I am very excited to go into my second year of teaching at Ōtūmoetai Primary School. I am very fortunate to be part of the Tui Team, where I am working in Room 21 with an amazing class of students. I am passionate about my ākonga and seeing them thrive in an environment where they feel safe and valued.

Prior to teaching, I gained a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation before joining the New Zealand Police. I spend most of my spare time outdoors, either playing sport or exploring the beautiful Bay of Plenty with my family. I am a volunteer lifeguard for Mount Maunganui Surf Club and I also enjoy playing Hockey.
