Weka team - Year 5 and 6

I teach a composite year 5/6 class. We enjoy an integrated programme and try to include singing, dancing, drama, visual arts and crafts and co-operative activities as much as possible as this makes our learning even more fun. We are lucky to have several computers in our class which also make learning fun as well as encouraging our inquiry learning. We find that real life experiences and situations really make our learning meaningful and take pride in involving ourselves in all sorts of things.
Out of school I love to spend time with friends and family, enjoy outdoors especially our beaches and surf, and keep fit walking, swimming and now doing Zumba too!

I teach a Year 5 and 6 class of children who are all very inquisitive and enthusiastic learners! My strengths are language and Physical Education however I enjoy teaching all subjects. Outside of school I am kept busy caring for my horse and competing on the weekends! I also play squash, karate, snowboard and enjoy water sports. I look forward to seeing you around at OPS.
