Kids On Feet Walking School Buses have now started at school.
The buses are operating the following routes:-
ORANGE ROUTE– Operating Tuesday & Thursday mornings only. Leaves 8.20am – 89 Carlton St to Katherine Glen to Otumoetai Rd to school. Parent Co-ordinator:- Toni Kennedy
RED ROUTE – Operating Tuesday & Thursday mornings and afternoonsLeaves 8.35am – Corner Bellevue Rd/Brookfield Terrace to Otumoetai Rd to school. Same route in reverse for afternoons. Parent Co-ordinator – Jan Ozanne
YELLOW ROUTE – Operating Monday morning only. Tuesday & Thursday morning and afternoon. Leaves 8.15am – 101A Darraghs Rd to Otumoetai Rd to school. Same route in reverse for afternoons. Parent Co-ordinator – Liz Carter
GREEN ROUTE– Operating Monday & Friday morning only. Leaves 8.35am - From bus stop outside Otumoetai Pools in Windsor Road to Sherwood St onto Otumoetai Rd to school. Parent Co-ordinator – Nina Harland
Your child does not have to walk everyday, it is whatever suits you. You drop your child at the designated bus stop and they walk to school and they meet in school at the colour coded bus stop located in school.
To register you child please collect a consent form from the school office and return indicating which route your child will be joining and then place into the box in the office. If you wish to find out about becoming a volunteer to help with running the buses or have a suggestion for another route then please speak to any parent you see in the fluoro vests that are running the buses, or contact;
